My name is Florence Nightingale, the daughter of the wealthy landowner, my fathers name is William Nightingale. I was born in Florence, Italy, on May 12, 1820. My father is a unitarian and a Whig who is involved in the anti slavery movement. When i was younger i was really close to my father i think it was because my father never had a son. I was his best friend and i really enjoyed it.He took care of me and my education. My life when i was a young girl was pretty good for the most part :). That was soon to change when i find what my passion is in life.
